HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED HOW TO MAKE FRIENDS IN DARWIN AFTER MOVING FROM ANOTHER LOCATION OR HAVE RETIRED?
THE DARWIN IONIAN CLUB provides support and friendship, for both newcomers to Darwin as well as those who have been here for a while, with a welcoming social women's network and opportunities for meeting new friends.
Club Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of the month from February to November at 11.30 am
The next Club Darwin Ionian Club Meeting we will on Thursday 26th August at 10.30 am
followed by a cooking class
Venue: At a member's place - only members and invited guests to attend
Guests are welcome at our other Club Meetings held at various restaurants.

The next Club coffee morning on 12th August 2021 is a special one as we will be visiting Government House.
(This is a closed activity. Members and invited guests are only to attend.)
On Thursday 9th September at 10.00 am will be back to our open monthly coffee morning.
The venue will be at Raw Bean Esspresso, Voyage Arcade, 38-43 Smith Street Mall, Darwin CBD
The Darwin Ionian Club's offer various indoor activities such as Book Club, Mah Jong, and later on Scrabble.
The Book Club is on the first Monday of the month (February to November), or second Monday (due to public holidays or other reasons). The next Book Club will be the second Monday, 9th August at 11.00 am at Botanic Gardens. Bring a chair.
Outings around and outside Darwin will be advised during the year. There will be a members and partners crab dinner on 26th July, 2021 at Diamond Kitchen, Nakara. Numbers are limited due to the venue size. The Social Committee have organised a car rally for Monday 30th August for members and their partners and friends. They will drive through the countryside and receive a prize for the one who visits all stops on the way, as per clue sheet, and is first to the lunch venue. Lunch is at the Purple Mango Cafe, 294 Stephen Road, Marrakai NT (1 hour 10 minutes from Darwin). After lunch a visit to amazing rock sculptures.
